Comment
Tarun Garg, managing director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, said the numbers show the strong appeal of the company’s portfolio both at home and abroad. He noted that September’s total overtook the July record.
Outlook
Garg said customer interest should stay strong through the festive period and highlighted the launch of bookings for the new Hyundai Bayon as a boost. He also mentioned an upcoming sub‑4‑metre electric SUV slated for release later in the year.
Context
India’s auto market traditionally sees a sales surge during the October‑December festive window, and new model launches often drive that rise. Hyundai’s focus on compact SUVs and electric vehicles aligns with consumer demand for fuel‑efficient and city‑friendly cars.
