Bihar Board Announces Dates for Upcoming Matric and Intermediate Sent-Up Exams

The Bihar School Examination Board has released the timetable for the sent-up tests for students appearing in the 2027 Matric and Intermediate annual exams. Intermediate sent-up tests will run from November 19 to 28, while Matric tests are set from November 23 to 27. Practical exams for Intermediate students will happen between November 30 and December 2, and Matric practical tests will take place on November 28. Students who miss the sent-up exam or fail it will not get admit cards for the main board exams. However, candidates registered under ex-student, compartmental, and improvement groups do not need to take these tests. The board holds these exams to check how well students are prepared before the final exams.

Context

School board sent-up examinations act as a mandatory dry run to ensure students are academically ready for their final board evaluations. Missing or failing these institutional checks typically bars regular candidates from receiving their official exam hall tickets.
