Representative image · PexelsDucati has revealed the 2027 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak featuring a new livery inspired by its race bikes from MotoGP and the World Superbike Championship. Designed in partnership with Drudi Performance, the fresh paint scheme aims to match the motorcycle's sporty personality. The Italian brand notes that there are currently five different variants of the Multistrada V4 lineup. The Pikes Peak and the V4 RS models use a 17-inch front wheel instead of the default 19-inch wheel to make handling more dynamic, sitting on the sportier end of the range compared to the regular V4 and V4 S variants. Underneath the new look, the mechanical setup remains the same. The bike uses a 1,158cc V4 engine that puts out 170 horsepower and 123.8 Nm of torque. It also keeps all of its electronic rider aids, including cornering ABS, adaptive cruise control, traction control, wheelie control, hill-hold, a radar system, a bi-directional quickshifter, a 6.5-inch TFT display with a Pikes Peak specific Race ride mode, and a street-legal Akrapovic exhaust system. Buyers can also opt for red wheels through the Ducati Factory Made programme, while black wheels come standard.
Context
This release builds on Ducati's long tradition of transferring technology and visual designs from professional track racing to its road-going motorcycles. Motorcycles in this high-end adventure-sport segment typically combine long-distance touring comfort with high-performance track-derived capabilities, appealing to riders who want both utility and speed.
