Royal Enfield's upcoming Himalayan 750 adventure motorcycle has been spotted again during a commercial shoot in Malari, Uttarakhand. A roadside sign reading "Grand Canyon of India Malari" with "Pappu Dhaba" beneath it helped pinpoint the filming location, which was previously identified broadly as the Niti Valley.
Motorcycle Details
The latest images provide a clear look at the bike's bodywork across four colour finishes. A maroon version features black and gold detailing on the tank extensions, while a lighter cream or light-grey bike sports orange, yellow and red accents with a "750" side-panel marking. A muted grey-brown option displays Himalayan lettering and textured graphics, and a green motorcycle is also visible. The photographs confirm multiple wheel setups, showing alloy wheels on the maroon and green bikes, and cross-spoke wheels on the lighter and grey-brown models. The cross-spoke setup is expected to be tubeless-compatible, paired with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination. Other visible hardware includes a round headlamp with a horizontal lighting element, a tall windscreen with a centre opening, a stepped seat, a rear luggage rack, and soft panniers for touring.
Engine And Launch
The motorcycle features an exposed, finned parallel-twin engine derived from Royal Enfield's existing 650cc motor, along with upside-down front forks, twin front discs, a rear disc brake, and a rear monoshock with a remote preload adjuster. The larger engine is estimated to produce about 55 bhp and 60 Nm of torque, linked to a six-speed gearbox. Anticipated features include cruise-control markings, ride-by-wire, and multiple riding modes.
Context
Automobile manufacturers frequently film commercial videos and test upcoming models on high-altitude mountain roads to showcase adventure credentials before official market releases. Royal Enfield continues to expand its motorcycle lineup by developing larger-displacement engines based on its successful twin-cylinder platform. New models typically make their debut at major international and domestic automotive events.
