Photo: Openverse - wikimediaLong-term investors searching for value picks are focusing on major exchange stocks including MCX, BSE, and NSE following the announcement of Q2 results for fiscal year 2026. Over the past month, the MCX share price rose more than 3.5 percent, the BSE share price jumped around 14 percent, and the NSE share price traded near 1,810 rupees, up 25 rupees against the upper price band of 1,785 rupees per share. Trading on Wednesday morning by 10:00 AM showed the BSE share price down 1.50 percent at around 1,810 rupees, while the MCX share price dropped by over 5 percent to trade near 3,300 rupees. At the same time, the NSE share price hovered around 1,810 rupees, marking an increase of about 0.40 percent against its previous close. Market experts note that all three exchange stocks delivered strong Q2 results for FY2026, but MCX performance stands out with roughly 130 percent year-on-year growth in net profit. While NSE and BSE also reported steady growth in revenue and net profit, experts advise that long-term investors should prefer NSE over BSE shares. Avinash Gorakshkar, Founder of Avinash Mentor Research, explained that MCX posted strong growth driven by higher activity in the commodity derivative segment. The company more than doubled its net profit by logging about 130 percent year-on-year growth in net profit alongside more than 110 percent growth in revenue.
