Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026 kicks off with heavy phone discounts

Sale Highlights

Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2026 starts on October 8 with major discounts on smartphones from Realme, POCO, Vivo, Motorola, and Nothing. A major trend this year is the push for massive batteries, with several models carrying capacities between 7,000 mAh and over 10,000 mAh.

Battery Focus

The Realme P4 Power 5G features a 10,001 mAh Titan battery alongside 80W charging, priced at 32,999 rupees with discounts bringing it down to 29,999 rupees. POCO offers the X8 Power with a 10,000 mAh battery for 29,999 rupees, the X8 Pro Max with a 9,000 mAh battery for 42,999 rupees, and the X8 with a 9,000 mAh battery for 24,999 rupees. Meanwhile, Vivo includes the T5x with a 7,200 mAh battery and the T5 with a 7,050 mAh battery priced at 34,999 rupees.

Alternative Choices

Brands like Nothing take a different path by focusing on balanced features rather than maximum battery size alone. The Nothing Phone (4a) comes down to an effective price of 32,999 rupees with offers, while the Phone (4a) Pro starts at 49,999 rupees and the Phone (4b) drops to 27,999 rupees.

Context

Smartphone battery capacities have steadily grown over recent years as users demand longer usage times between charges for gaming and streaming. However, overall battery life also depends heavily on processor efficiency and software optimisation rather than capacity numbers alone.
