Bajaj Auto is offering cash discounts of up to Rs 12,000 on select Pulsar motorcycles as part of a festive‑season scheme. Cash savings range from Rs 2,500 to Rs 5,000 per model, with the NS400Z receiving the top benefit of Rs 12,000 – Rs 5,000 cash plus Rs 7,000 from finance and service components. The scheme follows the launch of the updated Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150, N160 S/SS and NS400Z only weeks earlier. September 2026 saw domestic two‑wheel sales fall 12% year‑on‑year to about 239,771 units, even as the new Pulsar models entered the market. Bajaj has not linked the discount programme directly to the sales dip. Total benefits for entry‑level bikes are Rs 6,000 on the Pulsar 125 and Rs 6,200 on the NS125, each including a Rs 2,500 cash cut. The Pulsar 150 gets Rs 7,200, the N160 S/SS and NS160 each Rs 7,500, the Pulsar 220F Rs 7,700, the N250 Rs 7,900, the NS200 Rs 8,000 and the RS200 Rs 8,900, the latter with a Rs 3,000 cash discount. Karnataka, Goa, Assam and Tripura offer all ten models; Tamil Nadu and Puducherry start the same selection on Oct 6; Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra exclude the RS200. Kerala’s list includes the NS200, N250, Pulsar 220F, RS200 and NS400Z. Northern states such as Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan cover the Pulsar 125, NS125, N160 S/SS, N250 and NS400Z. Bajaj also highlighted TFT consoles with Google Maps and upgraded riding tech on the newly launched models. The offers run through authorised dealerships for a limited time, with no announced end date, and buyers should verify local eligibility, finance terms and the five free services before calculating savings.

Context

Festive discounts are a common tactic in India to spur vehicle purchases during peak buying periods. The Pulsar range accounts for a large share of Bajaj’s motorcycle business, so its performance can influence overall domestic sales trends.
