Bengaluru-based House of Machines has brought Italian mini GP motorcycle brand Ohvale to India, launching three track-focused bikes priced from Rs 7.30 lakh. These motorcycles are strictly meant for circuit riding and practice, meaning they are not street-legal.

Models and Pricing

House of Machines has introduced the GP-0 and GP-2 models in four variants across three engine sizes. The entry-level GP-0 110 Automatic Standard costs Rs 7.30 lakh and features a 106.7cc engine with an automatic 4-speed gearbox. The GP-0 160 Race is priced at Rs 9.50 lakh with a 155.5cc manual engine. The GP-2 190 Standard comes in at Rs 9.90 lakh, while the top-of-the-line GP-2 190 Race costs Rs 12.75 lakh, using an 187.18cc manual engine. All three bikes use 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engines with carburettors instead of fuel injection.

Build and Features

All variants share a steel trellis frame, an aluminium swingarm, and an Arrow under-seat exhaust system. The GP-0 models ride on 10-inch front and rear rims with Pirelli Diablo slicks, while the bikes achieve extremely low dry weights of 67kg, 65kg, and 71kg due to fibreglass fairings and a 3.5-litre fuel tank. Race variants add features like fully adjustable USD forks, Brembo brake calipers, and a slipper clutch with a quickshifter exclusively on the GP-2 190 Race.

Context

House of Machines aims to support the growing Indian motorsport scene by providing specialized racing motorcycles designed to help children learn, practice, and enter competitions earlier. Mini GP bikes are widely used globally as an accessible training ground for young riders before they transition to full-sized racing motorcycles on professional circuits.
