Karan Johar lines up big-budget movies for Dharma Productions slate

Filmmaker Karan Johar is expanding the theatrical slate for Dharma Productions with several large-scale feature films planned for release and production. Production work is currently underway for multiple high-budget projects spanning various genres.

Movie Lineup

Three major big-budget films will go on floors in 2027 under the banner. The first project is RN Kao, an epic espionage film centered on the founder of R&AW. This will be followed by Gadadhari Bheem, a modern-day superhero film based on characters from the Mahabharata. The third project is Radha Krishna, described as an epic love story combining action and devotion around Lord Krishna and Radha. In addition to these, an untitled mytho-creature film is in development with director Sandeep Modi, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role.

Other Projects

Dharma Productions also has two feature films scheduled for theatrical release in 2027, titled Lag Jaa Gale and Nagzilla. Another project, Vishkanya, stars Rajkummar Rao and Pratibha Ranta and is scheduled to begin production in December. The broader upcoming slate also includes Prosit Roy's next film featuring Lakshya and Vedika Pinto, along with Dostana 2.
