Price Cuts
Google has put its entire Pixel 11 lineup on sale for the first time, offering major price cuts months ahead of Black Friday. Buyers can save 200 dollars on the base Pixel 11, 300 dollars on the 11 Pro, 350 dollars on the 11 Pro XL, and 250 dollars on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These discounts cancel out a 100-dollar price bump that phone makers added earlier this year due to an AI-driven memory shortage.
Phone Models
The Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL offer bright screens, versatile cameras with faster low-light performance and telephoto lenses, and a customizable HiLight LED on the back. The regular Pixel 11 shares the same Tensor G6 chipset and Qi2 25W support, but comes in fun colors like Hibiscus, Pistachio, Frost, and Obsidian. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold features an IP68 water and dust resistance rating along with an 8-inch main screen and a 6.5-inch cover screen.
Smart Features
All four devices include Google's AI tools, which provide proactive help, better conversation skills, and Magic Capture for automatic photos and videos. Pixels are also the only major Android phones with full Qi2 support and built-in magnets for easy mounting.
Context
Smartphone makers traditionally wait several months before cutting prices on new flagship devices. However, slowing sales and tight consumer budgets have forced companies to introduce early discounts to attract buyers.
