Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will kick off a ₹9,053.48‑crore development drive in his Kodangal constituency during a three‑day tour from Nov 7 to 9. The agenda starts on Nov 7 with the opening of a farmers’ fair and an industrial exhibition, followed by a dialogue with progressive cultivators, agri‑scientists and business leaders. On the second day the minister will meet women from self‑help groups and unveil a new radial road valued at about ₹5,060 crore that will link Kothwalguda near the Outer Ring Road with NH 167N at Nacharam in Kosgi mandal. He will also lay the foundation stone for an ₹81‑crore EcoPalm oil‑processing plant in the Lagcherla Industrial Corridor. Additional programmes include 223 new or pending BT road projects costing ₹1,410 crore under the Special Development Fund and the second phase of the MNKLIS scheme worth ₹2,100 crore. The chief minister will formally mark the start of the radial road at Nacharam. The tour concludes on Nov 9 with a massive public gathering of nearly 50,000 farmers from ten districts. The event aims to showcase the government’s investment in agriculture, infrastructure and industry within the region.
Context
These projects are part of the state’s wider effort to improve rural road links and add processing capacity for farm produce, steps the government says will raise farmer incomes and draw more industry to the area.
