Kansika and Mahek Gupta Share Top Spot in ICAI CA Foundation September 2026 Results

Kansika of Hisar and Mahek Gupta of Hyderabad topped the ICAI CA Foundation September 2026 exam with 361 marks each, 90.25 per cent. Sparsh Khandelwal from Ajmer and J Jayanth from Chennai shared second place with 359 marks, 89.75 per cent. Vaibhavi Singhal of Gwalior secured third rank scoring 358 marks, 89.50 per cent. The institute’s topper list shows five candidates across the top three ranks, with only a three‑mark gap between the leader and the third‑place holder. Only five candidates appeared in the top three positions, each scoring above 358 marks. A total of 1,04,240 candidates sat for the exam across 580 centres. Nineteen thousand seven hundred thirty‑six candidates cleared the paper, giving an overall pass percentage of 18.93 per cent. Male candidates posted a pass rate of 20.47 per cent (10,931 of 53,398) while female candidates recorded 17.32 per cent (8,805 of 50,842). The pass share fell short of the 20.09 per cent seen in the May 2026 session, when 18,124 of 90,217 candidates passed. The 18.93 per cent pass rate marks a 1.16 point drop from the May session.
