Two Mysuru University Professors Named in Global Top Scientists List

Two faculty members from JSS Science and Technology University in Mysuru have earned places on the Stanford University–Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists List for 2026.

Faculty Honoured

Punith Gowda R.J., an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, has made the list for five straight years from 2022 to 2026. He was recognised for his work in Mechanical Engineering, Transport, Heat Transfer, and Biomedical Engineering. He also made the 2026 Career-Long Impact List, securing a global rank of 70,133 and a subfield rank of 671. P. Siva Kota Reddy, a professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, joined him on the 2026 list for Mathematics, Statistics, and Graph Theory. Mr. Siva Kota Reddy secured a global rank of 11,87,318 and a subfield rank of 6,461.
