AutomobileE3 Electric.Ai rolls out Trion scooter with deliveries starting today

Production of the E3 Trion electric scooter has begun at E3 Electric.Ai's Hyderabad plant, and deliveries start today. The scooter is offered in three variants – C1, C1X and C2 – each built on a 14‑inch wheel chassis. The base C1 comes with a removable 2.3 kWh battery and a claimed range of 108 km, while the C1X and C2 use a fixed 3 kWh pack delivering 165 km and 128 km respectively. Prices are set at Rs 1 lakh for the C1, Rs 1.10 lakh for the C1X and Rs 1.20 lakh for the C2, ex‑showroom in Bengaluru. The first 100 buyers will receive an optional extended warranty covering the battery and key components for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first, plus one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance; the warranty package is valued at Rs 6,500 for the C1 and Rs 8,500 for the higher‑spec models. By entering the market, the Trion aims to compete with established family scooters such as the Bajaj Chetak, TVS Orbiter V2, TVS iQube 3.1 kWh, Ampere Nexus EX+ and Ather Konarc. ## Context The launch marks E3 Electric.Ai's first mass‑production effort and reflects the growing push for affordable electric two‑wheelers in India’s urban centres.
