The Indian Racing Festival has released its full schedule for the 2026 season, adding two new venues to the calendar. The lineup features the Buddh International Circuit and the Navi Mumbai Street Circuit for the upcoming races.

Current Standings

The 2026 F4 India season started in September with two rounds at Coimbatore's Kari Motor Speedway. Aris Kyriakou, who drives for Kichcha's Kings Bengaluru, leads the overall standings. Luviwe Sambudla of Goa Aces JA Racing sits in second place, just five points behind the leader. The next races move to Chennai's Madras International Circuit, which will also host the opening round of the 2026 Indian Racing League.

New Tracks

Both racing series will then visit the Buddh International Circuit for the first time for two rounds. The track previously hosted the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013. Because the F4 India championship is certified by the FIA, this marks the return of FIA-level racing to the venue after 13 years. Meanwhile, the Navi Mumbai Street Circuit will host the season finale on December 5 and 6. This 3.69km track runs along Palm Beach Road with an anti-clockwise layout and 11 turns, following a delay from its planned 2025 debut. Fans can watch all rounds live on JioHotstar and Star Sports in India, while the Goa Street Circuit will not host any races this season.

Context

Street circuits and former Formula 1 tracks help bring high-profile motorsport events closer to major fan bases in India. The expansion of these racing series highlights the growing interest in domestic motorsport championships. Television and digital streaming platforms make these competitive events easily accessible to viewers across the country.
