The Staff Selection Commission has released the additional result list for the 2025 Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar examinations. Candidates who took the test can view their roll numbers on the official website at ssc.gov.in.

Exam Details

The written computer-based test took place across the country from February 4 to February 20, 2026. The test featured two sessions lasting 45 minutes each. Session 1 covered numerical ability, reasoning, and problem solving through 40 questions worth 120 marks. Session 2 tested general awareness and English comprehension with 50 questions worth 150 marks. A separate computer-based result was also held on August 3, 2026.

Results and Withheld Status

Out of the total test takers, 8,071 candidates were initially shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test for the Havaldar post. Authorities did not process the results of 727 candidates due to suspected malpractices in the computer-based exam. Following this review, authorities shortlisted 542 of those candidates for the physical tests. However, the official candidature for all 542 individuals remains withheld due to ongoing concerns regarding suspicious activities.

Physical Tests

The subsequent Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test ran from August 24 to August 31, 2026. Only candidates who successfully cleared the written examination were eligible to attend these physical rounds.

Context

Large national recruitment examinations in India frequently use multi-stage screening processes like computer tests followed by physical assessments to handle millions of applicants. Authorities routinely review results and place holds on specific profiles when computer-based evaluation systems flag unusual patterns or potential rule violations.
