Nick Cave Announces Spring North American Tour Featuring Talk and Piano Music
Reported by Siddharth Deshmukh (Staff Writer) · Variety ·
Nick Cave will return to North America in the spring for a 25-date tour titled "Conversations With Nick Cave: An Evening of Talk and Music." The tour follows his previous run of similar shows eight years ago and serves as a follow-up to his 2019 tour.
Tour Dates and Format
The events begin on April 9, 2027, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver and wrap up on May 21 at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. During the six-week span, Cave has scheduled two-night stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Boston. Single-show appearances are planned for Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Montreal, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Asheville, Atlanta, Nashville, and Memphis alongside the Vancouver and New Orleans dates. The shows feature a mix of unvetted questions from the audience and intimate piano performances of songs from Cave's music catalog.
Tickets and Statements
Cave shared in a statement that his past shows of this kind were deeply healing and that the Red Hand Files have grown in reach and stature since then. Tickets will be available through a pre-sale starting November 11 at 10 a.m. local time for 24 hours, with registration required, followed by a general ticket sale on November 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
Context
Live interview and intimate performance shows allow musicians to connect directly with fans in a stripped-down setting without a full backing band. Touring artists often use staggered ticket release windows like pre-sales to manage high demand before opening sales to the general public.
