Veteran Actor Nana Patekar Passes Away in Goa at 75

Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at his Goa residence after suffering a heart attack. The 75-year-old actor died during the early hours of the morning. Dr. Shekhar Salkar, a senior doctor attached to a private hospital, stated that Mr. Patekar was brought to the facility after being found unconscious at his apartment located at Dona Paula, near Panaji. Doctors performed 45 minutes of continuous CPR, but he could not be revived. Mr. Patekar was declared dead at around 5:10 a.m. Following his death, a medico-legal case has been registered, and authorities will conduct a postmortem on his body.
