Context
Diwali Muhurat Trading is a symbolic and auspicious one-hour trading session held across Indian stock and commodity exchanges every year on the festival of Diwali. Investors and traders view trades placed during this window as a good omen for financial prosperity throughout the new Hindu calendar year, known as Samvat. While trading volumes during this brief session are typically low compared to normal trading days, it remains a long-standing tradition in the Indian financial community.
