The Match

The unseeded Liu ranked 102nd won her first tour title after breaking Eala in the eighth game of the first set at Victoria Park. Liu did not drop a single set all week during the tournament. Earlier this year in August, the 21-year-old clinched her maiden title in Washington, DC, which made her the first player from the Philippines to win a tournament on the WTA Tour.
