Bharat Jodo Yatra One of 'Strongest Political Movements' in India: CM Satheesan

Thiruvananthapuram: Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan has hailed the Congress party's Bharat Jodo Yatra as one of the strongest political movements in India. The yatra, which began on September 7, 2022, lasted for 136 days and covered a distance of 4,081 km across 12 states and two union territories. Satheesan considered being part of the yatra as one of the best experiences of his political life. He recalled the event on its fourth anniversary, highlighting its impact on Indian politics. The Bharat Jodo Yatra was spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader. According to Satheesan, the yatra's message of unity and inclusivity resonated with people across the country. He attributed the movement's success to its ability to bring together diverse sections of society. Satheesan also praised the yatra's leadership, saying it was led by experienced and dedicated individuals who worked tirelessly for the cause. The Congress party has been actively campaigning since the yatra concluded in September 2022. CM Satheesan expressed his gratitude towards Rahul Gandhi for leading the yatra and said he considered being part of it a 'life-changing' experience.
