IIT Madras Invites Applications for Executive MBA Program for Working Professionals

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has started accepting applications for its Executive MBA degree program. Working professionals can submit their registrations until October 26, 2026, through the official website at doms.iitm.ac.in.

Program Details

The two-year course is built for mid-career professionals who want to study while continuing their jobs. Classes will use a blended format of physical and virtual learning, taking place over alternate weekends starting in January 2027. To be eligible, applicants need a first-class bachelor's degree in any field, at least three years of industry experience, and must clear the Department of Management Studies Entrance Examination followed by a personal interview.

Curriculum and Structure

The syllabus mixes business management with technology and innovation. Students will study topics like the economics of platforms, global business management, cybersecurity, and new business models. The program structure includes a functional foundation, an integrated perspective on cross-functional challenges, global leadership studies, and two capstone projects. Prof. Saji K Mathew, who heads the Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras, noted that the program draws diverse students with an average of 12 years of work experience.
