Everything Apple announced at its fall iPhone event, from the foldable iPhone Duo to an always-listening Apple Watch

Apple has officially unveiled its highly anticipated first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, at its fall event. The phone features a 7.6-inch Retina display when unfolded, with an outer display measuring 5.4 inches. The device is inspired by the versatility of iPad and boasts an 'under-display' camera that gives users an all-screen feel. The inner display can deliver up to 31 hours of video playback, while the outer display can last up to 44 hours. The phone's fusion main camera features a 48-megapixel sensor, while its ultrawide camera has 2x optical zoom. The Duo starts at $1,999 and is available in two colors. Pre-orders begin October 16, with the device hitting stores on October 23. Apple has also announced the new iPhone 18 Pro lineup, which retains the same design as its predecessors but boasts enhanced cameras. The new Pro series camera features a 48-megapixel sensor with a variable aperture, as well as new 'Photographic Styles' for greater customization. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. Additionally, Apple is introducing a new 'Sound Recognition' feature on its Apple Watch Series 12, which can listen for sounds such as sirens and doorbells, providing helpful alerts for people who are hard of hearing. The company is also taking aim at the growing wave of AI-powered wearables with new 'Audio Intelligence' features on its smartwatches, including a 'Live Rewind' feature that shows the previous 15 seconds of a conversation as a text snippet, and a 'Siri Recap' feature that helps users remember key moments from daily conversations.
