₹156 Crore Technology Centre Opens in Bengaluru: How It Will Boost Devanahalli as a Tech Hub

A ₹156 crore Technology Centre is opening in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, aimed at supporting small and medium businesses in electronics and aerospace manufacturing. The centre, built by the Ministry of MSME, will provide access to advanced manufacturing technology, training, and testing facilities. Union Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, will inaugurate the centre on September 10, 2026. The centre is designed to train up to 10,000 people every year and contribute to employment generation and sustainable livelihoods in Karnataka. The centre focuses on Electronics System Design & Manufacturing, covering circuit design to electronics assembly and testing. It is equipped with advanced machinery, including SMT lines, 3D printing equipment, CNC machines, and EDM machines. The centre also offers testing labs, design assistance, and business and technical advisory support. Devanahalli, with its aerospace and electronics corridor, provides an ideal location for local MSMEs to work alongside larger companies and institutions. The area already hosts major companies like HAL, ISRO, and Boeing, and has a strong base of MSMEs in aerospace, defence, and electronics manufacturing.
