Superstar Rajinikanth shared that he still misses his past job as a bus conductor while promoting his upcoming movie Jailer 2. Speaking at the movie event called Jailer 2's Super Show, Rajinikanth said his bond with the conductor job goes beyond old memories and forms a core part of who he is. He worked as a bus conductor in Bengaluru during the 1970s for five years. He shared that every time he visits Bengaluru and sees a bus, he feels happy and thinks about those days. He added that bus conductors always stay humble in front of big personalities. At the same event, Rajinikanth revealed that he asked director Nelson Dilipkumar to add a song featuring Tamannaah Bhatia. The actor noted that Tamannaah's song 'Kaavaalaa' was a major highlight of the first Jailer film. Nelson turned down the request by saying he could not include it just because the star liked it. Rajinikanth replied that he stays relevant because he gives audiences what they love rather than just doing what he personally likes.
