Revenue from operations climbed 17.8% to ₹19,644 crore, up from ₹16,676.30 crore a year earlier. Total expenses grew 18.3% to ₹18,632.70 crore, while total income, which includes other income, reached ₹19,657.54 crore, a 17.73% increase. ## Store Expansion The retailer opened 15 new outlets during the quarter, taking its store count to 518 across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, NCR, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Rajasthan. ## Context Avenue Supermarts, promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, continues to expand its low‑price retail model, but wage inflation at entry level has squeezed EBITDA and profit‑after‑tax margins despite strong top‑line growth.
