BMW F 450 GS Prices Hiked by Up to Rs 30,000 Across All Variants
Reported by Kavya Rao (Senior Writer) · Autocar India ·
BMW has increased the prices of its F 450 GS motorcycle across all three variants in India, following its launch earlier this year. The three variants - Base, Exclusive, and GS Trophy - have seen price hikes ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. The Base variant now costs Rs 4.95 lakh, while the Exclusive and GS Trophy variants cost Rs 5.15 lakh and Rs 5.60 lakh, respectively. The price increase is attributed to the ERC (Easy Ride Clutch) feature, which is only available on the GS Trophy variant. Despite the price hike, the motorcycle's mechanicals and features remain unchanged. The Base and Executive variants still only come in one colour option each, with the GS Trophy variant offering a different Racing Blue with red and white accents. Other features, such as heated grips and cruise control, continue to be offered as standard. BMW had initially launched the F 450 GS with introductory prices, which were not meant to be the final prices. The motorcycle has been well-received by customers, and the price increase is likely due to increased demand. The price hike has been felt across all variants, with the top-end GS Trophy variant seeing the largest increase of Rs 30,000. The Sport variant, which was initially planned to be launched in India, has still not materialized. BMW has not commented on the reason for the price increase, but it is clear that the motorcycle has been a popular choice among customers. With the price increase, the F 450 GS is now more expensive than its competitors, such as the Ducati Diavel V4. The motorcycle's price and features are explained below, providing a comprehensive overview of the bike. In the meantime, BMW customers are advised to check the prices of the F 450 GS at their nearest showroom.
