Staff Selection Commission announces results for GD Constable recruitment examination 2026

The Staff Selection Commission has officially declared the SSC GD Constable Result 2026. Students who took the exam for constable positions in Central Armed Police Forces and SSF, along with rifleman roles in Assam Rifles, can now view their roll numbers on the official website at ssc.gov.in.

Exam Details

The computer-based test took place from April 27 to May 30, 2026. A total of 21,56,776 candidates appeared for this examination. The test paper featured 80 multiple-choice questions across four subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English or Hindi. Each question carried two marks, and wrong answers carried a negative marking of 0.25 marks. The commission does not allow re-evaluation or re-checking of scores.

Next Steps

Qualified candidates are now eligible to take the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. The nodal Central Armed Police Force, which is the CRPF, will issue call letters for these physical tests in due course. The commission will also release final answer keys, response sheets, and candidate marks on its website later. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 25,487 posts.
