Kareena Kapoor Khan Starrer Daayra Cleared By Censors With Zero Visual Cuts

The new investigative thriller film Daayra has received an adult certification from the Central Board of Film Certification with no visual cuts made to the movie. The Examining Committee did not cut any violent scenes or hard-hitting dialogues. The board only asked for a small change to a dialogue spoken by the character Aajuni, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, near the two-hour mark, where a single word was replaced with the term Minister.
Film Details And Release
Following this minor change, the film was officially passed on September 11. The final runtime on the censor certificate is 143.16 minutes, which makes the movie two hours, 23 minutes and 16 seconds long. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the project also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. This release marks the tenth film in Kareena Kapoor Khan's career to receive an adult rating, following her previous films like Chameli, Omkara, Udta Punjab, and The Buckingham Murders. The film is scheduled to hit cinema halls on September 18.
