Brokerage BofA predicts Nifty rise to 26,200 by end of 2026
Reported by Rituparna Sen (Section Editor) · Economic Times - Markets ·
BofA Securities has turned positive on the Nifty index for the first time in two years. The firm expects a 12 percent rise in the Nifty, taking it to 26,200 by December 2026. This positive outlook comes as five out of eight past risks have already happened. Even with this good news on large stocks, the brokerage has grown careful about smallcap and midcap shares. Three main worries still remain for the market. These ongoing risks are new share sales in the primary market, rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve, and disruptions caused by artificial intelligence.
