Hollywood star Pedro Pascal says learning to play the cello for Tony Gilroy's movie "Behemoth!" was the hardest task of his career, joking he would rather fight The Mountain from "Game of Thrones" again than learn the instrument. Pascal spoke at the film's premiere at the London Film Festival on Tuesday. He plays a skilled cellist who goes back to Los Angeles after touring for nearly twenty years. The actor admitted the role made him more scared than any past project, saying he had never been so afraid. He also joked he would rather be tossed off a cliff with Nicolas Cage than learn to play the cello convincingly.
Cast and Crew
Seventeen-year-old "Thunderbolts*" star Alexa Swinton worked with Pascal and praised his grace and kindness on set. She said working with him showed her that success and kindness can go together. "Behemoth!" also looks at the hidden world of film scoring. Director Tony Gilroy noted that even experienced crew members had never stepped inside scoring stages before filming. Actor Eva Victor said musicians told the cast and crew that the movie finally tells their story. Eva Victor, who also wrote and directed "Sorry, Baby", added that the film shows an important part of movie-making that people often take for granted.
