Four people escaped injury after a drive-by shooting targeted a house and a car in Melbourne's west overnight. Victoria Police report that several shots hit the property on Flinders Place in Caroline Springs at about 12.45 am. The front of the house and a vehicle parked outside show numerous bullet holes from the attack.
The Escape
The offenders fired multiple shots from a vehicle before speeding away from the scene. Neighbours told reporters they heard two separate rounds of gunfire in the middle of the night. The suspects fled in a silver Toyota Corolla, which officers later found burnt out in the suburb of Deer Park.
