United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to India next week from October 17 to 22 for his second official visit of the year. He will visit Mumbai and Jamnagar following a trip to Samarkand in Uzbekistan where he will participate in the C5+1 Ministerial. During his India leg, Mr. Rubio will meet senior government officials to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership and discuss regional and global dynamics alongside energy cooperation. He will also meet business leaders to promote commercial investment and economic ties. According to The Hindu - National, his Jamnagar stop is notable because the city hosts Reliance's refinery, which is the world's largest single-site facility with a processing capacity of 1.4 million barrels of crude oil per day.
