New Features

The new Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS variant has reached dealer showrooms ahead of its official launch, bringing major mechanical and tech upgrades to the motorcycle line-up. A primary update is the new six-speed transmission which replaces the older five-speed setup, paired with a quickshifter to help the bike cruise on highways more comfortably. The 249cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine now delivers an output of 25 PS and 22 Nm. According to Rushlane, dealer information prices this top variant at Rs 1,59,650, which sits higher than the standard Pulsar N250 starting price of Rs 1.45 lakh.

Tech And Styling

The motorcycle features a new 5-inch colour TFT display that supports Google Maps mirroring, document storage for registration certificates, driving licences and insurance, and a lap timer. Riders also get five riding modes including Sport, Road, Rain, Off-road and Tour, alongside traction control and dual-channel ABS. Visual highlights include glossy black bodywork with red graphics, red alloy wheels, gold-finished USD front forks, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes on both ends.

Context

Motorcycle manufacturers frequently update their popular lineups with advanced electronics and new features to stay competitive in the mid-size segment. Dealership arrivals typically precede a formal company announcement and market release by a short margin of time. These feature additions reflect the growing demand for modern connected features and safety systems in Indian commuter motorcycles.
