Microsoft shares went up by about two percent while investors began to rethink their worries about the speed and risks of artificial intelligence development. The stock stayed strong even though many semiconductor companies faced heavy selling pressure in the market. This recent AI selloff did not impact all technology stocks in the same way. Chipmakers like Nvidia saw sharp drops in their value. At the same time, Microsoft and other major software and cloud firms saw their stock prices go up. Investors are now moving their focus away from AI hardware makers and towards businesses that can make money from AI through software and cloud services.
