The US 10-year Treasury yield has crossed five percent for the first time since 2023. This rise brings worries that stock markets will face pressure as bonds start looking more attractive to investors. The change also brings back attention to Warren Buffett's old warning about long-term bonds being a poor investment. Even with that view, his company Berkshire Hathaway still holds a large amount of short-term US Treasury bills.
