Meta Links Child Safety Reports Directly to Indian Cyber Portal

Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta will now report child safety cases straight to the official cybercrime portal run by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, also known as I4C. This move comes as the central government increases pressure on social media platforms to crack down on harmful online content involving children. By sharing these cases directly with the government portal, authorities aim to take faster action against illegal material and protect minor users on major social media apps across the country.
