UPDATE - follow-up to Ed Sheeran says it was 'not my decision' to drop Macklemore from tour: Ed Sheeran said on Tuesday that the promoter decided to remove Macklemore from his upcoming US dates. The rapper's removal followed his on‑stage pro‑Palestinian comments. After the decision, every remaining support act on the tour announced they were quitting. Finneas, who is Billie Eilish’s brother, issued a statement saying artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. Irish singer‑songwriter Aaron Rowe also said he was leaving the bill. Danish group Lukas Graham confirmed its departure as well. Irish folk band Beoga, a regular collaborator with Sheeran, likewise withdrew from the tour.
