SpaceX to attempt first orbital flight of Starship upper stage on Sep 22

SpaceX will try to put the Starship upper stage into Earth orbit for the first time during its 14th test flight. The company announced the plan on Tuesday. The launch is set for September 22. A 75‑minute window opens at 7:15 a.m. Central Time. During the flight SpaceX will release the first batch of third‑generation Starlink satellites. Those satellites will join a planned network of about 10,000 internet satellites.
