UPDATE - follow-up to All support acts on Ed Sheeran's US tour quit after Macklemore dropped: Ed Sheeran said on Tuesday that the decision to remove Macklemore from his upcoming US tour dates was made by the promoter. Macklemore was taken off the line‑up after he made pro‑Palestinian remarks on stage. Following that, all remaining support acts have announced they are leaving the tour. Finneas, brother of Billie Eilish, issued a statement: "Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed." Irish singer‑songwriter Aaron Rowe and Danish band Lukas Graham also said they are quitting. Irish folk group Beoga, which performs with Sheeran, confirmed its departure as well.
