Actor Vijay Varma has officially confirmed that the streaming series Matka King will return for a second season, clearing up fan theories that started after a mysterious social media post. On Tuesday, Vijay shared a photo to thank spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and gave a hint about starting a new project. Fans quickly began guessing which upcoming show he meant. Vijay then posted an update to show he was at the production office of Prime Video's Matka King, posing near the show's official poster. He also posted a picture of the script for the first episode of the new season, titled Season 2 x Episode 1: Ek Aur Baazi, which is written and created by Abhay Koranne. Vijay will return to play his lead role as Brij Bhatti from the first season.
