Eight Large Stocks Hit Yearly Lows Even As Sensex Rises

Eight big stocks from the BSE 100 Largecap TMC Index hit new 52-week low prices on Wednesday even though the benchmark Sensex went up by 332 points to close at 74,336. A 52-week low means a stock has reached its lowest price level over the past year. Among the companies that saw their prices drop to new yearly lows are Shree Cement, Maruti Suzuki, IRFC, Britannia, Ambuja Cements, Godrej Consumer, Bank of Baroda, and Muthoot Finance. Some of these stocks have fallen by about 12 percent over the last one month alone.
