The United States Federal Reserve finishes its two-day meeting today with a rate decision expected for the first time in three years. The 12-member committee will share its choice at 18:00 GMT or 11:30 pm IST on September 16.

Swaps data reported by Bloomberg shows markets see a greater than 90 percent chance of a 25 basis-point rate hike from the US Fed. AFP notes that data from CME's FedWatch tool also pushed up these expectations, with investors placing the probability at over nine.
