The ShinyHunters hacking group has leaked hundreds of thousands of files taken from a Florida state database containing vehicle and driver information. The hackers published this stolen data on their leak site because the victim state agency did not pay their ransom demand, nor did they cooperate and comply with what the hackers wanted. The group stated that they originally breached this database, which is known as DAVID, earlier in September. As early proof of the hack, they posted a screenshot showing what appeared to be a record from the system.
