US Charges Five Men Linked to Russian Intelligence Over Alleged Murder Plots Against Ukrainian Allies

The US Department of Justice has accused Russia of running a plot to kill Ukrainian supporters living in America and Europe. On Tuesday, officials filed charges against five men who are said to have ties to the Russian Intelligence Services. These men stand accused of paying, or trying to pay, individuals inside the US and abroad to target people who support Ukraine or are seen as allies of the country. US Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that stopping foreign enemies from bringing violence and terror to American soil is their job. All five of the accused individuals are currently at large. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also spoke about the situation to reporters.
