Scientists have found that the Tyrannosaurus rex had a body temperature of about 97 degrees Fahrenheit, which is very close to human body temperature and similar to modern elephants. Researchers used a new method involving the teeth of the giant dinosaur to figure out its internal heat for the first time. The findings suggest that the famous predator was warm-blooded rather than cold-blooded like many other reptiles.
