UPDATE - follow-up to Boehly and Walter sell Chelsea stakes to Clearlake: Clearlake Capital now has full control of Chelsea after buying out the remaining shares held by chairman Todd Boehly, director Mark Walter, and Hansjorg Wyss. Boehly, Walter, and Wyss each held a 12.8 percent stake in the club before this deal. Clearlake previously owned 61.5 percent of the team and is led by co-founders Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano. Boehly and Walter had been part of the ownership group since 2022.
