A silent middle-age disease is now affecting one in five people in Britain and driving up cancer cases. At the same time, new research from UC San Diego Health has found why young adults may develop early fatty liver disease. Additional findings published by Inside Precision Medicine show that high-risk genes and type 2 diabetes are linked to younger-onset cirrhosis in MASLD. Furthermore, Medical Xpress reported on why some adults under fifty may develop early-onset cirrhosis from this same condition.
