Bengaluru nurse suffers critical injuries after husband attacks her with acid and machete

A 26-year-old nurse is fighting for her life in critical condition after her husband attacked her with floor cleaner acid and a machete in Bengaluru. The violent assault took place near J P Nagar when the victim was stepping out of her clinic to grab breakfast. Traffic police officers stationed nearby acted quickly to stop the attack and took the husband into custody at the scene. Police are currently investigating the case, noting that the couple had been living separately because of ongoing personal differences.
