A new health trend called ferritin face is spreading fast across social media platforms. The term refers to the idea that a person's skin can show signs of low iron levels in the body. Experts and medical articles point out that iron deficiency is not only about anaemia. A normal complete blood count test does not always rule out low iron, and a normal haemoglobin level can still mean iron stores are low.
